This collection of eight mini-sermons falls flat.. It isn't cute. It isn't really funny. It just kind of is.. The nostalgic glow wears off pretty quickly ... and the movie has nothing to fall back on except bad puns and a brace of awkward cameo turns.. . You get the gist of what he's saying, but at a certain point-near the third quarter of the film, I'd say-the prophet's ambiguous words start to grate..
